Our team was tasked with helping Silevo rebrand themselves from their former identity of Sierra Solar Power as they moved out of corporate stealth mode to introduce their innovative cell product in a highly competitive solar marketplace.  We first went to work to help them rename the company and to create clear messaging about the brand.  This was accomplished through a series of interviews with customers and management.   

Our next job was to create a new logo for the company as well as a complete corporate identity that included marketing collateral and a new website.  We used a content management system that allowed the Silevo team to easily update their content.   As a result of their great product along with lots of careful planning by the entire team, the company quickly received rave reviews.  Within three years, they were acquired by Solar City.

The Expertise to Drive an Increase in Relevant Traffic to Our Clients’ Websites

One prime example of Project6 Design’s breath of experience working with a diverse group of businesses and organizations was the design and development of a concierge car buying service website.  Cartelligent is an innovation company that connects consumers with the new car they want at the right price without the hassle of having to set foot in a dealership.   

Our task for Cartelligent included doing a complete overhaul of their website beginning with refining the site’s architecture.  We created a site that is not only easy to navigate but focused content pages to effectively funnel users to a contact form, which is tool by the company to get leads and gather information for future marketing.  Cartelligent also had us update metadata with keywords that will help the site get more relevant organic searches and optimize it for higher search rankings.   

Proof of our efforts were quickly realized when Cartelligent’s new site received a 344 percent increase in traffic and an huge 833 percent increase in traffic from organic searches within the year.  Project6’s redesign project also resulted in the company having a 69% increase in converting San Francisco Bay Area website visitors into leads and a 91% decrease in bounce rates.

Using Our Expertise to Assist an Innovative Philanthropic Foundation

We are especially proud of the fact that many of Project6 Design’s projects involve helping nonprofit and community organizations to improve their services and communicate a clearer message regarding the scope of their work.  One such project was to design and develop a microsite for the ClimateWorks Foundation, which is an organization that “mobilizes philanthropy in order to solve the climate crisis and ensure a prosperous future.” 

The creation of the Carbon Transparency Initiative (CTI) microsite is to keep track of progress toward a low-carbon future.  The site provides greenhouse gas emissions trends that will be used to allow funders of the ClimateWorks Foundation to leverage their response to global climate change.  The data will be analyzed to improve strategies and track progress of those strategies over time. 

Our job at Project6 Design was to help ClimateWorks to create a set of tools to help funders and decision makers within the climate community project as well as other partners to track and analyze this information.  We not only designed and developed the microsite so it is easy for users to navigate and access reliable, consistent information, but made it easy for system administrators to update. 

The Foundation is also using the ClimateWorks Tracker to draw upon peer-reviewed Carbon Transparency Initiative Models that will chart and record greenhouse gas emission pathways from 2010 to 2030.  Additionally the CTI will record year-to-year changes in order to track actual progress toward national emissions targets and allow for sectoral and regional comparisons.
