Project6 Design Wins Gold at the Horizon Interactive Awards Competition

The Project6 Design team was proud to be recognized for their excellence with a 2016 Gold Award for the Corporate & B2B website of the luxury home automation company, ELAN.  Sponsored by the Horizon Interactive Awards, the Competition recognizes the best interactive media production work from among entries from across the globe.  This year’s winners were selected from over 1,200 submissions representing 20 countries and 40 US States.   This year’s winning entries showcase the industry’s best interactive media solutions including web sites, mobile applications, print media online advertising, video, and more.  

Project6 Design’s recent overhaul and redesign of ELAN’s website resulted in a clean, visually appealing site that is easy-to-navigate, update and maintain.  In fact the new, updated, mobile friendly website design better complements the company’s goal of simplifying and enhancing a connected home.   

The customizable design system utilizing Drupal as the CMS allows ELAN staff to easily edit or add content. Highlights include improved functionality making it easier for dealers to be found and products to stay up to date. In addition, a custom feed of products automatically updates the website, creating product pages on the site and populating the content on those pages. 

ELAN’s business model involves creating private network hubs for their customers that seamlessly combine music, TV, climate, lighting and other home systems with an easy-to-use interface that puts the user in control whether at home or away.  An ELAN system allows users to see, hear, and respond to visitors while sitting on the couch, in their car or out of the country.

As most of our projects begin, we started by researching other similar luxury and environmentally conscious brands to get an idea of not only the products but what customers were looking for.  Our team did an in-depth analysis of the desired user experience as well as created a storyboard that was used to develop a wireframe structure for maximum visual impact and to support the many needed customization options.  

By using Drupal commerce to build a custom ecommerce system, we gave Presidio Classics a responsive website that is as conducive to content management tasks as to search engines. A Brand, Print and Web Redesign for High-tech Cloud Service Company

Zetta turned to the experts at Project6 for help in updating a website that had grown organically over time and was communicating mixed messages in both tone and visual hierarchy.   Even their brand identity, created by the original founders, was out-of-date and in need of a professional retooling.  Our task began by doing a thorough analysis of Zetta’s brand personality in order to determine its true character.  

Working closely with Zetta, we established a new identity that reflects the company’s promise of continuous access to business-critical data and applications with a memorable “Z” logo that mimics a continuous up and down flow of data.  Our team also studied the site’s information architecture and took care to ensure our new site structure would address the needs of Zetta’s target audience.

Before coming to Project6, the League’s problem was that they did not have consistency throughout their messaging.  They not only needed materials that would strategically represent the multiple parties they cater to but a fresh, updated image for a clean, modern look.  Our talented graphic designers at Project6 created all components of the group’s marketing collateral including bulletins, brochures, donor cards, microsites, flash banners and many other brand touchpoints.
