Project6 Featured in Storyboard Magazine

Project6 Design was honored to be featured in an article in the Fall edition of Storyboard Magazine, a quarterly magazine for visual media professionals from Visual Media Alliance.  Storyboard provides an in-depth look at the creative world across all media including a combination of print, web, digital and video.

The magazine offers a behind the scenes look at Project6 including the origin of the firm’s name.  Why Project6 Design?  Co-founders, Edina Tanović and Esten Sesto explain that the name stems from Esten’s last name, which means sixth in Italian, and the pair thought the name suggested a fun, James Bond-like sounding secret mission.  The co-founders also share that while both of them have a background in product design, Tanović brought her passion for branding and graphics and Sesto brought his expertise in UI/UX to form the company.

In addition the article highlights details regarding the new, renovated studio space that showcases our philosophy of design, simplicity and cleanliness.  Furthermore, as Project6 helps clients develop a consistent marketing message through branding, print, and web design and development, our work methods require collaboration between our team.  We are pleased to report that our new, renovated studio space encourages that dynamic.

When Tanović and Sesto first saw the space that used to be a desktop printer repair facility, it looked like a scene from the TV show the Hoarders.   After lots of work, the new studio, which doubles the space of the firm’s old offices, meets the needs of our staff extremely well.  Renovations were finally completed last October and the expanded space has allowed the company to increase its staff.  The design elements of the redo are simplistic and clean, yet classic - not trendy.  It should look as good ten years from now as it does today.

Founded in 2001, Project6 Design is an award-winning graphic design firm committed to using intuitive design to shape brands and solve complex usability problems.  By collaborating with clients, we help them portray their brand's story and communicate it in a clear and compelling way.  For high-quality brand, print or web design services, contact the top San Francisco design agency.
